"Be prepared not to sleep"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

I have been a patient twice recently on Dorrell Ward At the RBH. Unfortunately this ward does not seem to have the ability to dim corridor lights or admin area lights at night. None of the bay's have doors and as a consequence sound from patients and staff travels. The bright lights in the corridor means nobody can get the rest they need. I was exhausted from being in there. That staff are lovely, place clean.

Thank you for your feedback. As part of the overall Ophthalmology (Eye Dept) Improvement Programme, we will discuss the ward lighting issues with our ward team. We are pleased that you experienced kind and caring staff during your recent stay.
