On yesterday my wife sat on the edge of the bed with cramp in her leg and fainted, thereby falling to the floor and banging her head on our wardrobe. I lifted her to a sitting position but she "dropped off" twice and I had to bring her round.
We decided to call 111 and spoke to Sarah who thoroughly, carefully and caringly went through what had happened and the consequences of it. She referred to a clinician throughout and paramedics were called. Main concern was the pain in her head.
Duncan made a follow up call and paramedics Nicky and Lara arrived 20 minutes later in their ambulance. They could nor have been more professional, thorough in their checks or caring before deciding no visit to hospital was necessary as long as I stayed with her and there was no change in her condition.
"Superb help from NHS111 and Paramedics in Dorset"
