I was a patient under gyneacology with suspected PCOS, the doctor I saw basically told me there was nothing wrong with me and that all my symptoms were in my head and if there was any thing wrong then it was more than likely my bowels. I was then told by my general practitioner that the report sent by the gynaecologist did in fact say that I DID have PCOS. A second opinion by another hospital then confirmed this. I have completely lost trust with the Gynae dept within BDGH. I also had a large ovarian cyst removed at the age of 13 in BDGH, gynea also let me and my family down there aswell by taking over 24 hours to inform my parents of this and by not obtaining their permission to perform this operation. I have been let down by the dept and will certainly not be receiving any further treatment by them and would recommend any friends and family members to try an alternative hospital. MOST UNSATISFACTORY!
