"Having a cystoscopy at Wycombe"

About: Wycombe Hospital

A cystoscopy was performed on me at noon on Saturday 7/11/15.

The procedure was only slightly uncomfortable, and as the consultant surgeon told me I would not need any further cystoscopies

I came home with a glad heart.

It was only two days later, when I started to feel some discomfort in the genital area, that I realised that whether by accident or design, I had not been given the usual broad spectrum antibiotic and I was suffering from a sharp attack of cystitis/urethritis.

This continues unfortunately, but my GP has now prescribed

Trimethoprim talets, so I hope to be OK in a couple of days.
