I agree with the review post on 16 September 2015 regarding two polyps. I'm aged just 22 and I too visited twice to Queens Medical Centre sometime last year and both times have been very unprofessional. The first visit the doctor spoke to me absolutely terrible and made was very rushed. Didn't really care why i was there and asked me the general questions. Put the camera up my nose and then said 'Yes you have polyps', then told me due to the fact my nose was unblocked at the time they couldn't help me but agreed i had polyps but they wasn't bad enough to it further. After living a few more years with Nasal Polyps and using steroid drops that doesn't make the slightest difference i decided to give it another try. The second time was exactly the same as the first time, but they sent me off for allergy testing which came back all negative and kept argueing with me it was due to pet allergies. I now live in my own house without pets and my nasal congestion is the same as it was when living with pets. Now a year or two later i am now left with nasal polyps still. I have been living with these since i was around 13 - i suffer from severe asthma and find it very difficult to breath at night time. I'm now getting very bad headaches and haven't been able to taste food properly since in my teens. Nasal polyps run in my family including my father, grandfather and my sister. I don't know what else to do. I feel that i have been very let down by queens medical centre and its staff. I wish they would just refer me to have them removed. I'm scared of returning to my GP and getting another referral to go through the same diabolical care Queen's Medical Centre offered me in the two previous consultations. I feel very let down and living an absolutely misery with them. (Sending this review at 4:48AM because i couldn't sleep due to polyps!!)
"Very unhappy"
