"Pregnancy assessment unit - marvellous midwives"

Unexpectedly I was advised to contact the PAU this morning by the community midwife team.

I was ably assisted over the phone by a triage nurse, however my symptoms then still necessitated a visit to the DRH. Once there, and although they were busy and I had a wait for some hours before being seen, I was greatly impressed with the staff who took care of me.

I wish to commend their approach, communication, patience and kindness which did not waver despite the pressure they were under to see numerous other waiting people.
