"Very happy"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

I had a great experience for the birth of my first child on the 30th October 2015. The birth centre was phenomenal and as soon as I couldn't cope with the pain we were swiftly movrd to the labour ward for an epidural at my request. We ended up with an emergency c-section but the whole process was extremely relaxed and well managed. All our midwives were excellent despite them being stretched due to staff illness. Especially one who was an absolute legend!

Dear Sally

Firstly, congratulations on the birth of your first child.

Thank you for your comments on your recent experience in our maternity unit.

We are really pleased to hear that despite moving from the birth centre to the labour ward and ending up with an emergency caesarean you felt well looked after throughout.

We will make sure your comments are shared with the maternity staff but if you would like to make further comments about a particular midwife you mention, you can nominate them for a WOW! Award on our website www.ashfordstpeters.nhs.uk/patients/your-feedback/wow-awards or contact our Patient Experience Team on 01932 723553 or email pals@asph.nhs.uk

We wish you well with your new addition to your family.
