"Caring, considerate, cheerful and friendly staff"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I was transferred to QMC from Leicester Royal Infirmary on 24th October and taken to West Wing D11. The staff were very respectful, caring and friendly. I was very well looked after and on the 2nd November I had an operation to relieve the pressure on my brain. I was then transferred from recovery to Ward D9, and then back to D11, the care I received on both wards was second to none from all staff, day and night. I would say to anyone being admitted to QMC your wellbeing is important and the staff, although obviously under pressure at times, do their utmost to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Thanks for your lovely feedback about D9 and D11, I’m pleased to hear you received such good care on both wards and glad you have been left knowing how important your wellbeing is to all our staff.

I’ve shared your kind words with the teams on both wards and we all wish you the very best. Laura Griffiths Interim Divisional Nurse, Surgery
