"Disappointing experience"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

The consultant shouted patient name and then reverted to their room, would have had no idea which room to go in had it not been for other patients waiting who were sat closer to doors and pointed out which room. The consultant was brusque, unfriendly and did nothing to put at ease. I thought these days the patient should be empowered and involved in making medical decisions but it felt like asking questions was an inconvenience. The nursing staff were good though.
