"Foot & Ankle Surgery Department"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I've had pain in my ankle for many years. My GP had organised an appointment with the podiatry department but they said my ankle was too complex and referred me to the Foot & Ankle Surgery Department.

I saw Mr Murphy & Mr Flanagan who were both amazing. Mr Flanagan injected my ankle and I've been able to walk normally ever since. They were very kind and said I can be referred back at anytime to discuss other options should I need to.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your positive experience within the Foot and Ankle Surgery department.

It is always good to hear positive stories especially when this has had a positive outcome.

I will share your comments with the members of the team involved and I am sure they will be pleased to receive this feedback.

Thank you once again.

Andrew
