What I liked
i have been a patient at the hospital for many years and whilst i would not complain about my treatment the after care has not been what i would expect from such a high profile hospital
What could be improved
the waiting times at appointments and that you are always having to explain your situation with a different doctor and that the doctors are not aware of the problems making appointments!!!
Anything else?
i was asked to come for an mri scan in july as there was a cancellation i made arrangements to have time off work and duly arrived at 9 a.m the doctor at my previous appointment had told me to make an appointment within two weeks of the scan i realise now that that they ca have no idea how appointments work. I have had an appointment made for myself for the 5th January 2010 i find this totally appalling i am living in constant pain but when i phoned i was informed that this was a busy hospital may i therefore advise that you tell your medical staff this and not to make throwaway comments as this does not help when you are in pain and all you want is your results. I realise that this rant will probably not make any difference but having spent the last weekend in total agony without any relief i felt it was maybe time that i should speak out after all how long can you keep taking pain killers which in the end do no good.l
