"The best support through our most difficult time"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

Sadly at our 20 week scan on Friday we were told our baby had sadly died at around 15 weeks. What followed next was nothing but compassion, sympathy, empathy and the highest care and respect we could imagine. It was as if the staff were feeling our pain and they helped guide us through this most difficult time. From the sonographers, midwife, consultants and then the amazing nurses on East Block A23 - all were amazing and really helped my husband and I through this difficult time.

I have so much respect for all they do! Thank you!

I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. It means a lot that you have taken the time to share your feedback, most especially at this incredibly difficult time for you, your husband and your family. I will ensure that everyone involved in your care hear of your words of thanks.

Thinking of you & your family.

Benita Brear, matron for Obstetrics and Gynaecology
