"Out patients waiting area five"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / General Medicine

(as the patient),

Great service from all the staff in waiting area five however the TV is set on a loop which plays tbe same NHS fraud story every few minutes, its a form of torture having been sitting for half an hour it is really not required and quite infuriating! Turn the sound down if TV needs to be on?

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Injured person,

I take your point, I think a clock ticking is torture so I understand how this can be too. I have asked the nurse in Out Patients and she has agreed to turn the TV down. I am sorry it was of no help to while away your time, I am sure it is meant to. Meantime, thank you for letting us know your feelings. I will also pass your comments to the staff as you found there care to be good, despite torturing you into the bargain.

I hope you are well now, or at the very least, on the road to recovery.

Best wishes,

Eunice
