"Not Happy"

About: Wrightington Hospital

Well after being on the phone for over half an hour, being cut off once and left with the phone just ringing n ringing, I finally got through to the correct dept, I asked if they had a date for my hand surgery and was told by the person, there was not a date yet, and as it was just an injection thing I'd have a longer wait. Since when have appointment clerks been doctors. Im having a local for hand surgery, (which I have had twice before) I do not need to be talked to in that manner by anyone. They even said my doctors surgery might do more swabs if I asked........ When Ive been in before the nurses on the ward have all been very nice and helpful, shame this time they got it so wrong........

Thank you for your posting, we were very sorry to learn of your experiences as this is not what we would wish to hear from the people who use our services. As a Trust we are very happy to look into your concerns, if you would like to contact the Patient Relations Department and provide us with more details we can take this forward on a more formal basis. Kind regards
