"Very caring, very professional"

From the moment I first spoke to the A&E reception staff to when we left, the staff were caring, professional, and helpful.

My 6 year old had been experiencing blackouts over the weekend and by Monday morning, I was very worried. The staff were compassionate and helpful which made me feel reassured that he would receive proper care and he was seen right away. Everything was explained to me clearly and the nurses were great with my child.

The doctor was attentive and had a great bedside manner with both me and my child.

The department was clean. The entrance to A&E was clean. The facilites were clean.

My two children were born at Watford and both experiences were good. And the few times we have been to children's a&e for various reasons-we have always had courteous staff who were good with the children, listened to all of my concerns, and explained things thoroughly and handled things effciently.

Today, the staff on duty should be praised and not faulted. Thank you!
