"Appointments"

About: King George Hospital

Who decides to send a patient for an appointment?

The consultant said they did not want to see the patient for three months, so the following week an appointment with them arrives for two weeks later.

On finally finding someone to ask, apparently it is a nurse-led clinic so why does the patient have to see this nurse?

No-one bothers to explain.

The GP reckons it is to check to see if the cancer has spread to another organ, so another stressful situation is developing, not knowing why.
