"Absolute disastrous. Embarrassment to private..."

About: Clementine Churchill Hospital

I will start with this: I pay for private health care for myself and my staff because I believe the treatment given is 'supposed' be at the highest level. To my horror I arrived at the hospital which looked like a cleaner had not been there for a week. when I went to reception I was asked to sit down once I let them know my appointment time. I sat waiting for over forty minutes then went to the loud mouth receptionist to ask the reason for the delay. The receptionist was more bothered with looking at their immaculate gelish nails than letting me know that the doctor that I am paying money to see is late by fifty minutes. I went to the unisex toilet which had urine on the floor and dirty tissue paper in the toilet. Disgusting! (Picture I have for proof). When my time had come to see the doctor the same receptionist shouted my name out for the whole world to hear because they could not be bothered to remove their body from the chair to call out my name in a 'professional' manor. This I know they could have achieved because other members of staff also were calling patients names but took the professional route. I saw the doctor who could not even take the time to apologise for their lateness. Their phone rang during the meeting that I am paying money for. The doctor then read a text message and then decided to discuss my health. I would advise anyone not to go to this 'private' hospital and if they are going via the NHS route (via referral) ask to be seen by another hospital that takes time and care for their patient. As for the word BMI all directors should take note and go and see this place for yourself without letting them know of your arrival and look at the disgrace they are bringing to your name. I will be removing myself from BMI and ensuring that myself and staff do not have to endure the experience that I had to suffer.

I believe the reason why this place called a hospital is so pathetically managed is because there is too many staff that have forgotten about the word called customer care. They treat you as if you are in a cattle market. Training is seriously needed and I will be continuing my treatment elsewhere. Terrible experience. This proves that NHS or private care, if service is bad it brings the whole brand name seriously to a halt. Glad to be shot of them and glad I can share my experience with the world to see.

I am incredibly saddened to hear that this was your experience whilst visiting the Hospital, as customer care and the cleanliness is something we take very seriously. I am going to investigate this further and therefore would like to invite you to meet with me personally so we can understand fully what happened on the day of your appointment, which consultant you saw and also take any other feedback you may have so we can improve things and ensure that this is not an experience you or anyone else experiences again.

Please contact me via my PA on 0208 872 3802 or my Process and Business Development Manager Claire Armstrong on 0208 872 3842.

Kind regards

David Henderson Executive Director
