About: Abingdon Community Hospital / Abingdon Miu and OOH

(as a relative),

Our local Dr had arranged for my mum who is 91 to be seen by Abingdon EMU as she had very swollen legs & left hand.

We were greeted by the reception staff who knew we were due to be admitted. We were then met by Fiona the nurse who was assigned to mums care. While we were there from 12. 30 until 5. 30, my mum received the most wonderful care by all who tended to her. Shiobhan the pharmacist was so caring & wonderful to my mum. And finally, Shavita the Dr was so kind and did all she could to try and find the cause of mums problem.

They all work so hard there and made sure mum had eaten & cups of tea were offered. I want to thank all who dealt with my mum with such kindness and patience. Thank you.
