"The staff were wonderful"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Vascular surgery

(as the patient),

On entering Doncaster Royal Infirmary at 7.30am in early November, my time was taken up with going in and out of rooms to get different tests. I was then told I was second to have some veins removed from my leg. My time soon came and as I was getting a local injection I was wide awake and was not frightened. The staff were wonderful including Mr Sihg as we talked and laughed the ¾ hour operation. I was taken to recovery and I was placed facing a wall and had to ask for a drink of water. I waited one and a half hours to be taken to ward G5. My leg has never given me any bother and is now healing, thanks.
