"Gynae ward"

I had a 5 day stay on the Gynae Ward. I was treated with care, dignity and respect from every member of staff from porters to doctors.

I was kept up to date with my care plan, included in decisions and listened to.

The clinical staff were excellent and the support staff proved that nothing was too much trouble.

I was in a four bedded bay and was encouraged to make friends with the other ladies who had had similar operations, which provided huge support.

I don't like to mention a negative but the food left a little to be desired.

It must be difficult to cater for so many people.

All in all an excellent stay and I will always be indebted for the loving care I received.
