We regularly go to our local sure start playgroup on a Friday morning at Ladybrook childrens center. Last week was our Halloween party and it was brilliant! We enjoyed pumpkin carving and making spooky Halloween pictures. We also enjoyed a snack time and the kids sat lovely to enjoy a snack together. This week at group there wasn't a snack and it was a shame as the children would of enjoyed it. Usually mid morning I would give my son a snack but he misses this when we're at playgroup, it would be nice if a snack could happen every week

Its really good to read that you enjoy attending the group and that the Halloween party was such a success. I'm sorry to read that you were not given snack during the group and that this only happened on a party week. I will speak with the group lead as I agree that it is important to have this as part of the routine.We now have a snack within the group
