"Treatment for Pneumothorax"

This is my second visit to Hammersmith for treatment of a spontaneous pneumothorax.

I cannot praise the staff enough for their kindness, willingness to support and availability.

They listened to any concerns I had about treatment and took them seriously.

For example I had some reservations about having a CT scan due to the radiation exposure.

The consultant took the trouble to order a minimal scan of my chest.

The wards are also very comfortable, clean and spacious.

I'm also a patient in the Haematology department which has the same excellent standard of care.

I feel lucky to live near one of the best hospitals in the country.
