"Catheter changes"

About: King George Hospital

Why are these done on a trolley in an open bay with just a curtain that does not enclose the treatment area fully, in a bay that is stacked with boxes where a bed should be, no door to the four bed bay area? Surely this does not offer a hygienic environment? I the treatment room is being repainted, is there really nowhere else? It is no wonder patients get infections.
