"Amazing"

My fiance was rushed to medway hospital early last week. He was given morphine, paracetamol, codydramol , voltarol and gas and air. We waited for hours to be given a cubicle only to be told to wait in a&e. We saw the doctor for all of 5 minutes being sent on our way home being told he had gastritis. However, 3 days later he visited his gp and was told if he vomited blood to go straight to william harvey. A couple of hours later he was so went to william harvey. I must say....how amazing. We arrived at a&e. Told we would be seen next. Went in. Had blood tests done straight away. Within an hour he was in a cubicle. Told he had to have a tube in his nose and down his throat, told he would have an xray on his chest and stomach, a ct scan and that he would be spoken to by a surgeon. Within another hour he had his x rays and scan and was on a ward. The next day the doctor came and sed he would be taken for an emergency operation within the hour as he had a blockage in his lower intestine. And true to their word he was. His is now back home on the road to recovery. He was on the wrong ward but i have to thank the nurses, doctors and surgeons because they still looked after him so well. Not only that but i was by his side 12 hours a day and they looked after me too. Their quick thinking and fast actions also saved my mums life a couple of years ago. You truly are a fantastic hospital with amazing and caring staff and i cannot thank you enough!
