"Emergency Dental Treatment"

About: City Health Care Partnership CIC / Dental access centre

(as the patient),

Went to the dentists, registered, and got an appointment for the next day. I had lost a filling and needed a tooth extraction. The dentist I saw refused to remove the tooth as he was 'very busy' and wanted to work on a number of my teeth. I was given NO prescription to treat my immediate pain, and an 'all-or-nothing' approach to my treatment. I am still in agony, but am currently looking for a dentist who will take time to listen to my concerns (and not give me appointments in the new year! ). Still, I can understand his attitude as I'm only a tax-payer after all.
