"Maternity - day and night"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Thought I should write something here to say that the team in the Maternity unit did really well despite it being a busy and very early Monday morning (02:00 was our arrival time).

The team did brilliantly and I couldn't have been happier with the service received. The room was clean and smelt fresh, we were regularly checked on while in the later stages and the birth was well attended. The longest wait was after the birth for all the documentation to get created, the checks and the sign offs - that took a good few hours but when you're holding your little one who has safely arrived in this world, a few hours is nothing.

And then some buttered toast turned up which my partner really enjoyed after her exertions.
