I would like to thank the staff at East Surrey who assisted my daughter in the recent birth of my grandson.
In particular two midwives.
My grandson took a slight dip of his heart rate during birth and I cannot even express how totally amazing one of the midwives were.
They took complete control of the situation and everyone in the delivery room and made us feel totally relaxed and secure in the fact that she would deliver baby safely.
My daughter and I have since recalled the whole event several times and still am in awe at the midwife's professional manner and how amazing they were.
East Surrey Hospital is very lucky to have them working for them and they are an asset to the delivery suite.
Any mum due to give birth can feel completely relaxed and happy if they are lucky enough to have this midwife look after them. I will be writing a letter to the hospital also in regard to this. Thank you again midwives and nursing staff and all who cared for my daughter and grandson during his slightly shaking start especially neonatal staff who administered his antibiotics twice daily for the first week.
Mum and baby at home now doing fab.
