"Patients treated like the most valued customers"

About: Sandwell General Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I'm being treated as an outpatient at Sandwell General Hospital and have been in now several times for various procedures and checks. Without exception, the staff I've seen - from the cleaner to the consultant- have gone beyond the call of duty, and treated me as though I was a valued client.

The staff are smiling and quick to offer any help they can, going well beyond the service I've received previously in private hospitals. I assumed that there must have been a programme of customer service training but no, apparently that's just how the staff are! !

Bravo and special thanks to the stroke ward in particular.
