About: Herts & Essex Community Hospital

Visited the Minor Injuries Dept today and was very impressed with the speedy and efficient treatment I received, in contrast to usual visits to hospital a and e departments. I was seen immediately by a nurse who quickly arranged an xray taking the trouble to show me where to go. The xray again was immediate and back to nurse. Treatment was decided and a follow up appointment booked. All in 30 minutes. Certainly the NHS at its best and the nursing and xray staff a credit to the hospital. I hope management appreciate what a valuable asset this unit is to the local community..
