Three years ago I was on the same ward for a different reason. This for time my T-tube insertion, I was on the insulin and glucose drip for a shorter amount of time and was able to unplug it to got to the bathroom. I really appreciated this, as it was less embarrassing than using a commode. I was also pleased with the anti-sickness meds prior to treatment, which enabled me to leave hospital sooner than last time.
I was disappointed that I was mis-informed that my treatment was permanent when just before I was told it may need to be repaired in a few years.
However I generally feel very positive about my stay in hospital. Thank you!
