"Was Respect Taking a Day Off?"

About: University Hospital Aintree

Through no fault of my own I have had Temporal Lobe surgery.

I was attending a check-up this morning, and due to the effects of my surgery I am easy to confuse, especially in a big complex like AUH.

I stopped to ask a member of staff how to reach my clinic, who completely threw me by saying I was at the wrong hospital, when all they meant was that I needed the Walton Centre.

However, the bit which made the most impact was the tone of their voice, like I should have known which building I wanted.

I hope they never need neurosurgery.

I hope there is someone a bit more sympathetic next year.
