"cannot speak to midwife (does the number even..."

About: Hillingdon Hospital

I have tried on many occassions to speak to a community midwife with no luck at all!. I wouldnt bother trying if I were you! I have to attend the hospital for appointments as apparently I am out of area (even though the hospital falls within my GP surgery. I have been told to count 10 kicks in 2 hours which I have since found out if out of date practise and although I had a baby 5 years ago!!! Its like I should know whats happening and shouldnt need any reassurance. I have seen 1 midwife in 27 weeks and had a brief appointment with another who didnt seem to know what they were doing. The care and compassion is lacking completely. I just want to know who I can contact in regards to the safety of my unborn baby! (Yes at 27 weeks she is a baby not just a heartbeat!)

I am so sorry that you have had difficulties contacting the community office. If you give me a call on 07748 147012 or my office on 01895 279465 then I’ll be able to discuss your appointment and give you any further advice that you may need.

Once again I’m sorry for the problems you have experienced so far

With regards
