"delivery suite"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

I never properly got a chance to thank all the staff on the delivery suite for how they cared for me and my son. I came in to hospital on the 8th June 2015 after going in to labour with my first child. I didn't have a clue what to expect like most first time mothers. From the moment I came to the maternity part of the hospital I was treated extremely well after going to the wrong ward and one of the nurses/midwives seeing I was in a lot of distress they gave me lots of reassurence and escorted me to the right ward. When I got to delivery suite I was taken to a private room with the midwife that then took care of me they was amazing I don't think I could of done it with out them I had a very quick birth and they were so kind and reassuring the whole time. I will never forget their kindness and the way they treated me and my family. Also thank you to the midwife that then took over our care in the morning who was also a very lovely person all the midwives where there to answer any questions I had after giving birth but also knew when to let me have bonding time with my son I can't say thank you enough. Holly + baby Zac x

Dear Holly, Our staff do aim to be reassuring at a time when mums to be are anxious so pleased to hear that all went well for you. We will of course forward your belated thanks to the midwives, and we hope you and little Zac are doing well and enjoying your first year together.
