Underwent surgical open repair of right side inguinal hernia.
Staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. In the weeks prior to admission there was much discussion between anaesthetists and cardiology to determine whether I could have general anaesthetia - all details had been diligently recorded in the Pre-Operative Assessment Documentation.
I consider this level of care and consideration to be absolutely first rate.
Procedure undertaken by day-surgery: admitted at 0730, down to theatre at 1015, discharged at 1400.
Post-operative care was exceedingly good.
Now back home resting and recuperating - improving on a daily basis, not much pain and no need for pain killers.
In summary: nurses were superb, surgeon was fantastic, anaesthetists were wonderful.
Can't ask for more.
I recommend them very highly indeed.
