"Thanks to two individuals"

About: Hereford County Hospital

We were recently staying in the Hereford area on a short, extended family break. I attended a and e with my elderly father on Tuesday morning. Although the wait time went from 1 to 3 hours I was very grateful to a member of staff who was very responsive, friendly and helpful, keeping us informed and nudging things forward. Also to the member of staff from Sodexho who went out of their way to bend the rules on the restaurant closure and find us a sandwich.

(In general I think that Sodexho senior managers are missing an opportunity to provide a welcome space for the hospital staff and visitors. As providers in a hospital this aim should be higher on their agenda).
