I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the brilliant staff who looked after us and our 2.5 year old daughter when she came in for a little tear duct procedure recently. The day surgery centre was clean, bright and friendly, and all of the nurses and the anaesthetist were absolutely fantastic! They looked after us so well, talked to our daughter really nicely and involved her in the conversations, and kept us updated with progress during the whole process. They even gave our daughter a bravery certificate and some sweeties before we went home. Outstanding from start to finish - thanks to all of you!

It's always concerning for a family when such a small child undergoes surgery, which is why our day surgery team go to all the extra effort to make everything as simple and reassuring for all concerned.

We know that they will really appreciate getting your feedback, which we have sent across to them already.

In the meantime, we do hope that your daughter goes on to make a full and speedy recovery.
