I went into the Leicester City General hospital on 4th sept 2015 to undergo a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, I arrived at 7.20am and was very scared i had a lovely nurse who reasurred me everything would be ok and got me ready for surgery.
I then met the anaesthetist and surgeon who went through everthing with me, I was called down to theatre by 9am,
When i came too in recovery i had the best care then was taken onto ward 31, I spent 2 nights in hospital and got to say i could not have asked for better care, Nurses were fantastic and looked after me very well, The food was also very good and loved the self service to drinks and snacks whenever you wanted them.
My operation went very well and i came home sunday afternoon. I have recovered well and feel great and go back to work soon.
Well done to all the staff, and the nurses deserve there weight in gold as work 12 hour shifts put up with a lot and still manage a smile and a laugh.
I hope i never have to have another op but if i needed one would ask to go to Leicester City General :-)
