"The amazing staff"

About: Abingdon Community Hospital / Abingdon Miu and OOH

(as the patient),

When I got wheeled in to the Abingdon Minor Injuries ward I was greeted warmly by very cheerful staff and very helpful with the form I had to fill in. Due to the number of patients, I had to wait quite a while, but due to the other patients the staff and the rugby world cup, it wasn't so bad!

When I had been there a while I was about to leave, but when the doctor had told me to stay because it won't be long before he sees me. He was working 2 hours after his shift finished which really suprised me, I've never met someone so dedicated to his job than him.

Once I was being seen to everything happened so quick and I was being x-rayed and prodded and out of there. But a massive thank you to everyone for not only being greatly professional but also a very good laugh.

Dear Ankle Guy. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your recent experience at the Abingdon Minor Injuries unit. It is helpful to hear about what we do well so that we can keep doing it, but also where we can make improvements.

Our staff are really committed to providing good care and I will ensure your kind words are passed on to the Dr. I hope your ankle injury is improving and I am pleased the rugby match helped fill the time.

Mandy

I have already discussed your feedback with the team and identified the staff involved - they also pass on their thanks.

I trust the ankle heals well and I wish you good health.
