About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

My waters broke 14th of August (at 36 +6 weeks) and I went to the maternity ward. Labour didn't progress over the next 24 hours so I was induced on the 15th. Labour still didn't progress very easily so I went for an emergency c-section early hours of the 16th. It was a hard slog but the ward were amazing and were with me every step of the way and were very efficient and supportive. The midwifes are so nice! Had I not have had so many midwifes and nurses on hand or the support I received, my baby may not have survived as he had his cord round his neck so the call to c-section was vital.

My baby is beautiful and I can't thank you enough for the help you provided.

The only fault I would have is that it could be made more comfortable for partners, as I was in the ward for 5 days with a tiny prem baby my partner needed to be with me and he didn't find it easy to get any sleep as the chairs were not great.

Dear Cheryl

Congratulations on the birth of your baby - I hope you have been enjoying these first precious weeks.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

I am pleased to hear that overall it was a positive experience and you were supported through your labour by the team.

We are lucky to have a great team of midwives who do their very best to deliver great care.

I will pass your comments on regarding your experience and that of your partner as well.

Thank you for thinking of us at this time

All the best to your family

Claire Marshall
