"Atrial Fibrillation"

About: West Suffolk Hospital

In the early hours of the morning of the 21st of Oct 15 I was admitted to A&E with my heart beating 3 times as fast as it should. The Staff were all lovely and caring, they explained what they were doing all the time, so I wasn't any more scared than I was already. Unfortunately they had to stop my heart twice, which didn't work, all the time reassuring me that they still had other options.

The Doc then administered another drug and eventually after several hours, my heart returned to normal and I was allowed home. Unfortunately I can't remember the Doctor's name, as it wasn't easy to say, but they were lovely and very professional and explained that I would need to come to the Cardiology Department for further treatment, but that I should go to my Doctor to get this arranged. This I have now done and have an urgent appointment for Dec. The nurse was lovely too and very caring. In all I was treated very well and hope the treatment I receive on my return in December will be as good. I know it was during the night and therefore, maybe not as busy as during the day, but it was still busy! Thank you A&E

Thank you for taking the time to post this review.

It will be passed onto the A&E team, who will be absolutely delighted to receive it.
