The staff of Ward 8 were very caring, I was put at ease straight away and nothing was too much trouble.

At every stage the procedures moved forwards smoothly creating a relaxed atmosphere that took away any anxiety.

All my questions were answered and everything was explained to me clearly.

After the operation I found the bed to be very comfortable and the provision of ice in my water elevated it to the status of nectar!

The food did not excite me quite as much.

I arrived at 7.30 one morning and left at 3.30pm next day having had an excellent experience - Well done.

I am pleased to report that my recovery is proceeding wonderfully well with no pain or discomfort.
