"A&E admission to SAU"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I attended A&E in a medical emergency - I was assessed, pain controlled and in SAU within an hour. All the A&E staff were excellent, skilful and confident in their decision making and actions. They were compassionate towards my very scared wife as well. SAU continued this and worked very hard under huge resource pressure to make me and fellow patients well again. I feel very lucky as I write this and can't thank the staff enough.

Please don't let the media and politicians grind you down. Thank you again.

It is lovely to read that you felt you received excellent, skilled and confident care when you were admitted to A&E and SAU with a medical emergency. It is great to hear that staff worked well together to ensure that you and your wife were treated with compassion at such an anxious time for you both.
