My sister had a transfer of care for her antenatal care from another hospitals as she's just moved to the N17/E18 area.
on turning up with me, her big sister in tow, to the maternity unit, we were greeted by friendly staff, who listened to my sisters request/ concerns, shes a high risk pregnancy, her first arrived at 32 weeks, we waited just over an hour and a bit, and were sent to the booking in department, where we were seen by a lovely midwife, who took their time to listen to my sisters concerns and anxiousness, and put my sister at ease, they completed the booking in visit there and then, nothing was to much for the midwife, they arranged my sister a blood test, and also arranged a scan all in a few hours.
Staff in the Antenatal clinic were friendly and polite.
The time and care they gave to my sister was of a high standard, if we had gone back to her old hospital, we are sure we would not have been seen on the same day.
you could tell the midwife had years of good practice and was experienced,
I have sent a Thank you email to the head of Midwifery to thank their staff, well done North Middlesex Hospital.
A lovely experience for mums to be.
A very happy Auntie to be.
