"very rude staff at day unit"

My partner is 37 and 6 days pregnant and have been waiting to see a midwife for over 2 hours now due to only being 4 beds for the whole of Bedford. While eating my partner became very hungry and as food was being put out in the room asked if she could have a plate of chips and the person who was serveing the food said it was fine.When my partner sat down with a plate of chips a midwife came over and was told that she was not albe to eat the food as she was not on the ward even tho she works and pays for the NHS every month out of her wages and was told to put the plate of food back! The midwife was very rude and told us to make a complate if I had a problem. She made my partner very upset and I was not very happy I will be takeing it up with management!! 27/10/15
