About: Lincoln County Hospital

My partner has been messed about beyond belief for the last two years or so. He is now at breaking point. He has got a partially blocked artery in his leg and after being lost in the system he was finally seen and had an MRI. He was told it would be dealt with this time. Instead he has had appointments cancelled and the latest was a letter telling him his appointment for the 30/10/15 was cancelled and he would be put on the waiting list for another one. How can this be happenin?, its soul destroying. He is also waiting to see someone about a poch that has been found in his oesophagus after having had a barium meal. He was told an appointment would be sent out soon last month. We're still waiting.

I can sense your frustration from your comments, and sincerely apologise for the fact that we seem to have let your partner down at what must be a very difficult time for you both.

We do want to put this right but to do that we need some more details from you.

If you would please contact our PALS team on 01522 707071, or by e-mail at pals@ulh.nhs.uk, they can take your partner’s details and will liaise on his behalf with the appropriate teams to expedite both appointments and also to investigate the reason for the cancellations.
