"Breast unit one stop clinic"

I have had breast cancer in the past and was referred by my GP to the Basildon breast unit to have a current breast problem checked.My anxiety was off the scale but I was telephoned with an appointment date within 24 hours of the GP referring me and was seen within 2 weeks at the breast unit one stop clinic. From entering the breast unit I was impressed with the professional courteous treatment from all the staff who looked after me and the speed at which the various tests took place. The unit do their utmost to provide their patients with results on the day wherever possible which is what happened in my case and thankfully I was discharged after my one stop visit.The unit is clean efficient and welcoming and I would not hesitate in recommending the service provided.. My sincere thanks to all at the breast unit.
