"Minor injuries unit"

About: Samuel Johnson Community Hospital

The staff at minor injuries, particularly one of the nurses on duty, were excellent when I arrived with my three month old baby boy with a purple pin prick rash that was non blanching. The on duty nurse acted very quickly and efficiently to get us transferred to burton hospital via ambulance where my baby could be investigated and monitored in more detail. I was very grateful for the professionalism and skilled knowledge of the staff and at Samuel Johnson who were also able to reassure me and keep me calm at the same time. Luckily my baby boy is fine but I was very impressed by the quick acting and decision making made on the day which could've been the life saving decisions if the situation had turned out more severe.

Samuel Johnson minor injuries unit is so effective and important for its local community and I would highly recommend it.
