"My mom staying at John Taylor hospice"

About: Birmingham Hospice – Erdington

(as a relative),

In august 2014 My mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer in her liver kidney and chest lymph nodes and was given just weeks left to live.

In her last 3 days of life my mom came to stay at the hospice, to say we all felt welcomed is an understatement. From the nurses to the cooks everyone was so lovely and compassionate with us. Nothing was to much bother at all. Even down to mom taking her final breath two nurses stayed with us and comforted us the best they could. Without this hospice I honestly don't think we would of got through such a dark time. We always received counselling through the hospice which was a massive help. We could never thank them enough!
