I came to the walk in centre and was met by a rude member of staff sat behind the desk who continued, for approx 5 minutes, to have a personal conversation with their colleague despite me standing in front of them waiting to be spoken to.
When the person finally finished they looked up at me. I said hello to which they replied sharply that the receptionist is on a break and will be back shortly to see to me. I took a ticket and sat down in the waiting area that smelt strongly of the adjoining toilet.
When the receptionist arrived they were very rude, demanding that I speak up despite me wanting to not want to share my issue with the entire waiting room.
I think it was very inappropriate, embarassing and unfair that I was made to speak of my personal business in front of people instead of writing it down via a form lime at the other walk in centre I had been to, and for 'advice' to be shared even more openly (by the loud speaking nurse) to the public.
The members of staff had no people skills at all and appeared to make, not only me, but other patients extremely uncomfortable.
Im not paying my taxes to be disrespected and poorly treated. Most of us have hard long work days too, there's absolutely no excuse for it.
"Rude and poor customer service"
