"Opening hours remain incorrect on website"

Despite promising a previos reviewer on the 7th October to change the opening hours of the minor injuries unit the closing time remains incorrect at 22.00.

On arriving at the department at 18.30 on Saturday my husband was informed that it closed at 18.00. If the website had been correct we would have driven straight to Exeter as he required attention for a deep laceration.

Dear Patient

Many thanks for highlighting this issue again, and I can only apologise that the opening hours have yet to be changed on the Trust website. I would also like to apologise that you had a wasted journey to the unit, and for the frustration and upset this caused at the time.

I will contact the matron for the hospital to highlight this is the second occurrence, and ask that she ensures the timings are changed on the website as a matter of urgency.
